Are clinically meaningful pubs prior to med school considered when applying to residency?

Non-trad here whom has managed clinical research studies at a medical school the past 5 years and I'll be starting school this summer. I have been a 2nd or 3rd author on a few publications from our work in hospitals across the country. Will those publications carry any weight for me when applying to residency positions?

I understand they may or may not ultimately be relevant to the specialty I apply to, but will they have any impact?
