Medical Are MD schools okay with DO doc letter or do I need to shadow an MD doctor?

Hey! The past year I was applying for DO schools based on a couple of personal reasons. DO schools seem to be more particular/strict on a letter from a shadowed doctor, with a preference towards DO doctors. Do you know if MD schools would be okay with DO doc letter or do I need to shadow an MD doctor? Thanks

MD schools will be fine with a DO LOR.

FYI, only a tiny handful of MD schools require a clinician LOR, so don't waste your time.

...and not ALL DO schools even REQUIRE a letter.

For MD schools, letters from people you have worked with and know you well enough to write you a personalized letter > a doctor you shadowed for a week and knows nothing about you other than you can follow them like a puppy.
