Are my letters sent?

Hi all,

So my undergrad just sent in my composite letter + another individual letter to AMCAS and AMCAS has these marked as received.

The letters were already assigned to schools when I first submitted my primary application. Does this mean the letters have been sent (or are on their way) to their assigned schools already? I don't see a spot to click to send them off anywhere. My undergrad told me them sending it to AMCAS wouldn't automatically send them to any schools?

It does automatically send them off to schools.

Ahh, what if I wasn't sure about actually sending the individual letter in but it was technically designated for a handful of schools?
