Are schools still screening applications?

I haven't heard from som of the schools I applied to. I called to confirm that all my application materials were in in September and they were, but no word. Anyone know if the screening process is on-going?

Did you mean are schools still screening for secondaries? I'm not really sure, but I'm still waiting on 3 UCs to get a secondary. It seems to be that even if I get a secondary by this time it will be way too late to get an interview.

If you're asking whether the schools are still sending out interview invites, they are. I got an interview last week from a school where I was complete in August.

I agree. Invites can come at unexpected, late times. I just received an invite yesterday (yes, Christmas & a Sunday) from a school where I was complete in the first week of August. Some schools are still screening. 👍

They way some adcoms operate I wouldn't be surprised to find out that they were run by monkeys - and not particularly well trained ones at that!
