Are the residence halls at downstate quiet enough to study in? Are they safe from burglaries from outside and inside theft?

    Thanks

I'm a MS2 at Downstate and have lived in the dorm both years. Yes, I could study in the dorm, though I personally prefer the library.

I have never heard of any theft or crime in the dorms. There is a security guard 24hrs/day, 365 days a year at the front door.

Best of all, you're so close to class/labs. I really appreciate NOT having a commute.
