are there any? its been my understanding that east coast schools have little or no luck getting into ones on the other coast?

is this true?

USC, OHSU, and Stanford (and, to a lesser extent, UCLA and UCSF) all take a good amount of out-of-staters. Most of these schools are pretty competitive, though.
