I am about to start med school after I finish my pre-reqs. I would like to do radiology. I take that back I would LOVE to do radiology. My question is, I am a board certified and state licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Is there any benefits to holding this, such as when sub specializing in Nuclear Radiology? Or is it not gonna really mater at all?

I plan on holding it regardless, however Im wondering if there are any benefits to holding it through med school, and continuing to have it through residency and fellowship.

Thank you

you could moonlight as an NMT (probably not much after hours demand though) during school if you keep it
