I know I'm not the only one sleep deprived. Anyone have embarrassing in-class sleep stories to share? I don't want to go first. 😀

i've fallen asleep and snored in various classes, most times only the students around hear me but once the TA heard me.

most comical time had have to been when me and my friend both fell asleep sitting next to each other in lecture, his snoring overpowered mine and woke me up

😀 last year during one of my classes, a guy who was sitting in front of me has fallen asleep and the guy who was near him has fallen aswell. and a few students who were about to fall asleep were sitting in front of these two guys. i remember that i noticed a slow (but accelerating 😀 ) movement in front of me. i raised my head and saw how that guy who was in front of me was falling ON the student who was near him. of course they both woke up and suddenly screamed. that scream woke up that students who was in front of that guys (and they screamd too 😀 ) it was sooo funny (ridiculous and stupid) that i couldnt stop laughing for minutes. actually it was not only me, i think the lecturer also laughed 😀 😀 😀

When I was a sophomore during my Orgo final, the woman in front of me fell asleep and started snoring. It was incredibly distracting and the guy next to her asked the TA if he could wake her up, and then poked her and went back to his exam. She did wake up finally

I fell asleep once in class after 2 all nighters in a row. Then a friend next to me shook me (didn't wake up) and offered me caffeine pills and I was wide awake all day. From then on, I never forget my morning coffee. On the way out, the professor passed me and was like "long nite, huh".

I've definitely fallen asleep in a number of classes...i'm only assuming that once i started snoring, I got poked at and mysteriosly woke up.

However, its fun to watch other people fall asleep...definitely takes some of the boredom out of listening to lectures.

My personal favorites are the ones who fall asleep more upright with their head to one side and they start drooling.

The poor guys in the ROTC program at my ugrad get like no sleep. In my freshman chem class, one guy fell asleep on the front row. As if that wasn't bad enough, he fell off the hand holding him up and did a face plant into the desk. Sounded like a gunshot going off in class. Poor guy got a bloody nose too.

Once, I was really sleepy in my humanities class. I thought sitting in the front of the room would keep me awake, but unfortunately it didn't. So I totally passed out and when the class was over, I woke up and decided to quickly get up and leave. However, I was not awake enough to realize my legs were still asleep b/c I was sleeping in an awkward position. So i tried to get up and I collapse straight onto the floor. The bad thing was my legs were still unresponsive so I couldn't even get up right after. My friend had to come help me off the floor and I had to just stand there afterwards till the feeling came back to my legs. And sitting in the front of the room meant basically everyone saw this.

I never understood falling asleep in class. I never fell asleep in any of my undergrad courses. If I didnt want to go to class, I kept my lazy ass in bed and slept.

i took a class on english history my freshman year, and my friend and i fell asleep in class every day right in front of the professor. it was a small class too. it probably didn't help that i had a 7:55 math class on those days.

in our bio class, me and a buddy would always sit up front and everyday I fall asleep. he would tell me how funny it was b/c i would be laid out in front of the class.

then in this boring as hell class, i think it was somekind of history, i slept and the teacher called on me and obviosuly i didn't respond b/c i was asleep. Then at the end of class he tells me i called on you but you didn't answer b/c you were sleeping. i totally bombed the class.

i also slept in out general chem LAB, i know people still ask me how it's possible to sleep in a lab, but i guess it is.

then i overslept for an exam, i went to the teacher i took the exam in 15 minutes (which is suupse to be an hour exam) and of couse got like a 60 or something. On top of that i got a parking ticket b/c i parked right in front of the bldg. But hey still aced the class.

also, once a friend of mine took my wallet cuase i was really knocked out.

I always slept in the non-important classes. i never slept in chem or orgo.

the reaosn why i still go to class is b/c i feel guilty about not going but i guess i don't somehow feel guilty about sleeping in it.
