I am a medical student from Jordan aiming at matching in a residency program in the US . I heard that residency programs take into account whether the applicant has had a US clinical experience or not and if he got letters of recommendation or not
my question is that are hands-on clinical experiences that are taken online and the letters of recommendation that one may get from them comparably valuable to ones taken in person ?
I am asking because it would be financially difficult for me to take an in-person experience in the US
