I wish the best of luck to all of you who will soon be working in the hospital; both to the 2nd years starting your rotations and the 4th years gearing up for residency.
Here's something that will help.
For most med schools, nobody bothers to tell you that you need to know some basic radiology (even if you're not going into radiology). For rotations, you'll do well for yourself on rounds if you can discuss your patients' x-rays. For residency, the radiologist won't see the x-ray until morning and you're left to read it yourself so you can initiate the right treatment.
Check out *****************. It's an interactive radiology atlas of common & emergent cases and it's in the bookstores now.
Everything you need to know and nothing you don't.
