Hi all,
Im in my 4th year of Army HPSP applying EM. It seems to be shaping up pretty competitively this year with lots of applicants and I realize there is a decent chance I don't match. I wouldn't mind taking an IM slot if not picked up for EM. So i'm looking for advice on how to approach this.
If I rank the 4 EM spots 1-4 and then a TY as 5th, will I automatically be slotted as a TY if I don't land an EM spot? Or will I be allowed to rank IM in the rebuttal board?
Should I rank IM programs 5, 6, 7 etc, and not rank TY? Is it possible to get taken for an unfilled IM slot if i rank it but don't interview?
