Asking shadow a doctor via nurse( mom)

My mom is a nurse and I am thinking of asking her if I could shadow doctors she works with. Is that bad or should I just go with her to work one day and ask my self. It is a small hospital and very laid back.

I don't know why I seem to misspell the titles of my posts all the time. sorry lol

Don't think it matters too much, but may seem more professional if you went and asked yourself.

I shadowed half a dozen docs, and all of them were either through my mom (RN) or grandmother (socially connected). It seemed to work well for me if I let her make the first contact, and I could call to nail down the details.

go yourself. as long as the physicians know your mom pretty well, they'll most likely let you shadow them. (this is seriously how ive gotten all my shadowing)

Or call up random physicians to see if you can shadow, which is what I did because I had no connections.
