Hi all,

I've been matched into ATSU SOMA's Portland, OR community site, which is a dream for me. I love the Pacific Northwest and want to make it my home sooner rather than later. However, I'm wary of their upcoming PBL curriculum implementation and less abundant elective rotations, which may leave me high and dry for necessary experiences in my 3rd and 4th years. I know CCOM is known for quality clinical rotations. I like Chicago and could make a nice life for myself there, but I don't like it nearly as much as the PNW. I ultimately know that I will make the most of any program I'm in, whether it has the support of the more established CCOM program or the more DIY style of ATSU. However, I'm not sure if I want to deal with the intricacies mentioned about ATSU. Does anyone attending either of these have any helpful input? Any and all is appreciated.
