Attention all Post Bacc students and graduates... Let's get a thread on your stats and acceptances before and after the post-bacc... List the schools that accepted/interviewed you as well...

sure, happy to.

but first I need to get accepted.

I'll start: (copy and add to the list like "Acceptances")

Undergrad GPA, PostBacc, MCAT, Schools

3.25, 3.95, 31Q, Southern Illinois University, USUHS

Is the first GPA cum? Maybe you'd want to have the acceptance school first? (So the list could be alphabatized and so we could see what different schools were looking for in a postbac student).

I didn't do a formal postbacc program, just had to retake one class. I've been out of grad school since 1996. My master's degree GPA was 3.88. I changed the headings to add science GPA.

Ugrad GPA, Sci GPA, PB GPA, MCAT, Schools

3.25, not listed, 3.95, 31Q, Southern Illinois University, USUHS
3.23, 3.03, 4.00, 36P, Medical College of Ohio

How's this:

School, Ugrad GPA, Sci GPA, PB GPA, MCAT

Medical College of Ohio, 3.23, 3.03, 4.00, 36P
Southern Illinois University, 3.25, 3.25, 3.95, 31Q
USUHS, 3.25, 3.25, 3.95, 31Q

Can you also include previous MCAT scores and whether you were in or out-of-state? For example:

3.51, 3.61, 3.98, (36Q, 31R, 29P), Vermont (a,o), Loma Linda (i,i)

Thanks, I know it would help me.

um, there's absolutely no organization to this, so let's see...

BS (1995), UCSD, 3.3, 29R
MS (1996), UCSD, 3.7, 34S
PhD (2002), USC, 3.6, 36R

Interview at Hawaii, waitlist at SUNY-Upstate, acceptance at UVM. Zero interviews before this year.

Andrew

Haven't taken the MCAT yet and stil have to take some physics and o-chem (let's assume A's hehe):

undergrad: 2.8
grad: 3.8
postbacc (classes outside grad school only)so far: 3.1

Wow some amazing MCAT scores!!! How long did you guys study for those!?

I did the Harvard post-bacc program...some clinical experience...decent MCATs....21 interviews and 5 acceptances so far. It seems that being a little older and experienced is a big advantage.
