Hello everyone.

I thought I would post a topic that we can post questions that we come up with while studying. This is similar to the previous mcaters club post, but more for questions you can't figure out. For instance, if you don't understand a passage or question from the practice tests or stuff from the kaplan course books, etc.

I'll come up with some...

this is a great idea.

thank god i never have to take the mcat again, but all u mcat studiers good luck and if you need any study material PM ( ur not gonna believe how much material I have).

GOOD LUCK!

Kaplan Full length test 1 - the verbal section, I thought was easy, but didn't do as well as I liked. Here's the kicker, all the questions I got wrong were like "Duh" questions, in the the answers seem obvious now! How do I stop making stupid mistakes like this?! I think I over-think each question or look for specifics when the clear answer is the "stupid" choice, ya know? I dunno, frustrating...

My advice would be to go with your 1st instinct and DO NOT overanalyzw the question. There have been plenty of times when I doubted myself, and went back and erased the right answer for the trick one. But don't do that, once you have an answer filled in , just leave it. Again, that's just my experience. Try this during some of the practice tests and see if you notice a difference. Good Luck, and Dont Stress too much BigRed...
