Ok, here's the deal. If someone had stolen a copy of the upcoming MCAT (I know, multiple forms blah blah, forget all that) and was selling it on eBay, how much do you think it would go for? $10k? $100k? And let's say it's impossible to make copies, so the highest bidder gets the test and everyone else is out of luck.

Couple grand, if there were no legal reprecussions. But then there's always the rich desperate type that'll pay anything.

Something like that should go for around $100K. There is a good chance that you still won't get a 45, because something in there will be ******ed. But, think of what you're getting with a 43+.

1) You're in great shape for scholarships. You'll get one somewhere. That's a potential savings of around $150K right there.
2) Obviously, if you do get a 43+, you can make people think you're a genius, even though you're a dumb****. What's more, since you are potentially a normal, cool person who has a flair for the brilliant, adcoms will eat you up with gravy.

Forget the legal reprecussions, this is an undercover dealing and nobody finds out except for you and the devil. People pay 1500 to take prep classes, so to actually have a copy of the test has to be way more. You are talking guaranteed 45 if you just memorize answers.

Probably more than a million dollars.

And then that person would sell copies of it on ebay

Hey, don't break the rules!! We already established there was only one copy and that this copy was unrecopyable, so there can only be one copy. No selling copies of the original copy on ebay! 😡

😀

So is it just the MCAT itself, or does it come with the answers? I'd prefer that...

Ok, I added that in afterwards. I still say over a mill.

Good point with the scholarships thing.... Somebody that wanted to get into the stats ***** that Wash U is would probably snatch that up pretty quickly. Actually, we all would but...

Anyway, at certain schools the scholarship money would be greater than 100k like you said

Nah not a mil. I think the seller would require you to pay in one lump sum, so that would only leave the rich people who could afford over 1 mill. But if I had over 1 mil and I wanted to go to med school that badly, I'd just write a quick check to ___ insert favorite med school here ____ and get a free acceptance hehe. Shoot, they may even name the school after me. Could you imagine a med school named after you rejecting you?

Yeah, there is no answer key. Which brings up another question. What is the worst someone could do having the test a month in advance but without an answer key? Is anyone stupid enough to score under 30 still? 35? Although you would think if you were going to pay to obtain it, you would also pay someone smart to do it for you and explain the answers.

That's some serious laziness, haha. Not just the test, but also the answer key.

Hey, if I'm paying big bucks for it, why not? 😛

if you're rich enough to pay a million dollars for the test... then you're probably rich enough for your daddy to make a donation to the med school you wanna go to, and you're in. you don't even have to worry about the application, interviews and all that crap...
