auditing classes

i will be completing my bachelors degree in the summer. Do you think it will be wise to audit a class in the fall. At my univ., audited classes show up on the transcript. do you think that medical schools will look negatively on the audited class (i mean do you think they might ask why not take it for a grade?) If that question is asked, do you think the answer "I will be out of town so much for interviews and I do not want my grade to suffer" will satisfy them
