August MCAT--harder curve?

Does anyone know how the April and August MCATs compare? It seems like everyone who took it in August would do much better because they had more time to study. If this is the case, would it be better to take it in April, even if you aren't totally prepared? Any advice or information would be appreciated!

i think i read someone post earlier: take it in April if you can get around a 30. there's no point in waiting til August to get a 31-33 if it means your app will be delayed. timing is so so so important.
