Okay, so i went back in time and got out a thread for you guys that we all used when we were taking our april MCAT thread. I suggest you all start adding to the same, it will make your studying much easier.

So start with this thread that I had started back in PreAllo, and keep posting here on the MCAT forum. Let's continue the tradition, and help ourselves study for this ::ahem:: thing.

I also bumped up a Deconstructing Verbal thread for you guys, for those of you having trouble with Verbal.

Happy Studying!

PS: the thread I gave you a link to has actual questions/answers. It's about 18 pages long. DO NOT READ THE ENTIRE THREAD IN ONE DAY!!! You must use it as practise, to guage yourselves. Otherwise, this thread will be of no use to you.

TweetieBird,
You are awesome! Thanks for your help!! I really appreciate this and I am sure other premeds do too!
:)

Thanks so much Tweetie ... You're awesome!

Now, if we could only find the post-april-MCAT threads. Those would be very useful, since they discussed many of the questions that were on the April test.

Jolly :)

I'll do that when I have more time. Finding this one was hard enough. I would urge you to NOT look at the post-april test threads until it's 1-2 weeks before the test. Reason being--you don't want to narrow your focus to only THAT type of studying.

Check out the thread I already posted. With almost 18 pages, that should keep you going for now. When the time comes, I'll find that other stuff and hand it over to you guys. But don't be so narrow in your studying focus to only look at what's on the April test. It will throw you off in terms of WHAT to study for. Plus, the stuff we discussed you will have no idea about, since you didn't see the passages. Let it come closer to July 31st, we'll post it up then. Okay? Anybody disagree?

You know, I did not discover SDN until after I took the MCAT. I look now at the threads that Tweetie_bird and others are posting to help the next generation and think how great a resource this is. SDN rules.

why do I not see people posting on here? you think you're THAT ready to take the test??

Come on guys! Get with it. :)

Cheers,
Tweetie

ummm......dumb question, but I can't seem to find this thread you're talking about tweetie.

I took the AAMC test 3 the other day and got a 26 (9v, 9p, 8b). Not bad but not great. I was actually one correct answer from getting a 10 on verbal +pissed+

Anyway my MCAT studying has been put on hold thanx to my newly acquired flu and assignments from summer classes. Should be back on track by Thursday.

How bout everyone else?

Anyone else out there taking summer courses along w/ MCAT preparation? I am currently taking physics, and I must say that getting all of my course work done AND studying is rough. Just wanted to see if anyone else is in a similar situation and see how they are doing.

I have two classes now. One from 9:50-12:30 and one at 7:00 to 9:30 at night. I try and squeeze in 4 hours of MCAT time between classes.

same dumb question: tweetie, where is this thread again? in the pre-allo or the mcat dis forum? i used the link that someone had posted as a reply in this thread, but I'm still not sure if i'm looking at the right thing. so yeah, i guess the question is where can I find this thread? thanks so much! take care everyoen and good luck studying:p
