I am considering going to med school in Australia for several reasons.(It is not because I have poor grades or low MCAT scores. I wont even take the MCAT until next spring.)But I am particularly interested in Sidney or Melbourne. Does anyone have any "inside info" on either?

I think generally it's pretty difficult to get into an Australian medical school, unless it's one of those that's set up to take in American students (Flinders University comes to mind).

Tim of New York City.

I think that Flinders university in South Australia is your best option. It conducts some of its interviews in the US and the course is set up in such a way that you can actually complete some of your fourth year electives in the US, making it much easier to get an internship.
