Hey Dr.M, I get an internal 'Document not found' error for the first three links you reference above.

I just clicked on them and they are working, I made a mistake on them initially but I corrected it immediately after posting. Try them again, if its not working, try to access via http://www.doctors2be.com , they are linked from there as well.

I took a look at those sites (well the umat orientated ones). Perhaps I'm too cynical but when every second post reads something like

"THANKS DALLAS FOR THE UMAT SUPERPREP COURSE!! I GOT INTO THIRTY MED SCHOOLS!!!"

I start to wonder who is really behind this yahoo group...

For those that don't know... "Dallas" is some guy who charges $300 a pop for pre-meds to go to his workshops (to study for the UMAT).

When I was tutoring premeds last year, I had the 'priviledge' of looking at the stacks of crap this guy hands out to his 'students'. In my opinion they are common sense and a COMPLETE waste of money.

Honestly, people, do not throw your money at this guy. The UMAT in my opinion is a common sense random number generator. No offence at all to Dr. Magic for posting the thread though ;)

There have been arguments like the above a few times over the net. But it doesn't change the fact that countless students get into medicine using these courses. If you read messages at the forums, you can see people genuinely trying to help each other, and thats all that really matters.
