Has anyone had any experience with the auto transport industry? There are so many different places that offer auto transport.. they range from 750 to 900 dollars from LA to FL..anyone who has any tips or comments about the company you used would be greatly appreciated..

I just shipped my car a few days ago from portland to fort lauderdale. I used DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers). Most of the companies had very comprable rates (1100 for Portland to FL), but make sure you ask what the delivery times is.

One company told me that my car would take anywhere from 14 to 21 days, and they could not tell me exactly when it was going to get to FL. For DAS they told me they would have it there in 13 days.

So, best advise would be to call and tell the moving company when you want your car to get to FL, and then they can tell you when to drop it off.
