I am particularly curious about Harvard's ScD program in Epidemiology, but I was wondering if anyone happened to have expected completion times for any Epi PhD or ScD programs (post-MPH)? For example, I believe the average time for the Epi PhD at South Carolina is 3 years for someone with a prior masters. What others might you have?

3 years? That seems.... really really fast. The average I noticed when I was applying to schools was around 5 years. 2 years of classes + 3 years of research for thesis/dissertation.

At HSPH, 4-5 years is the norm.
