Looking over many options while comparing school this winter ( P/F, match lists, curriculum, FA). Is there any one place that has compiled the avg step 1 scores for most MD schools? Or do you have to go on every schools individual web page?
This information is largely unavailable publicly, you'll have to get it from current students or people who interview there because sometimes this is given out at interview day. It's not useful information either way.

Don't make decisions based on average Step scores. Averages mean nothing to the individual, and ultimately you have to earn your own score. Fit, support systems, and COA are far more important.
A programs average step 1 correlated less to the education at the school and likely the students they accept. If the class has a statistically higher than average MCAT score, you’d assume their Step 1 score would also be high.
