Does anyone know of any sleep programs that are accepting outside residents next year for away rotations? My home institution does not have a sleep fellowship and our sleep medicine department has been completely virtual since March 2020 with no plans to go back. Thank you!

In the last paragraph:

We accept applications through ERAS, and since 2016, we have been fully participating in the NRMP Sleep Medicine Match. We are also happy to host residents/fellows with clinical interest in sleep medicine for a two or four week elective. Please contact the Program Coordinator for the Sleep Medicine Fellowship, Diane Ranucci, for more information regarding fellowship application or for more information about an elective rotation.

Thanks!

Why does going completely virtual necessarily preclude doing a rotation with them? With telemedicine appointments and remote sleep study reading, a virtual rotation could still be a meaningful experience. True, you'd miss out on mask-fitting/hands-on sleep study setup, but if you're interested in resident-level exposure, it might suit you perfectly well. Worth asking anyway.
