Hi All!
I'm wondering if there are any students who have been accepted to med school with a BA in Psychology?
I've heard it doesn't necessarily matter what your degree is in as long as you meet the math and science requirements, have solid grades, good MCAT scores, clinical/volunteer experience, letters of rec, ect.
I'm just wondering if anyone has felt like they are disadvantaged with a Psych degree upon entering med school.
I've done research with a professor in Health Psychology, I've been a TA for a stat's class, I have a 3.8 GPA and I'm currently volunteering at a local hospital but I always feel like I should be doing more since I will not have a degree in a "hard science" when I graduate.
