Bachelor's Degree for Medical School

So I've read tons of threads here, and they all seem to come to the common consensus of needing a Bachelor's Degree to be considered for med school; I don't have a problem with that. However, I also read that you should begin applying to med school in junior year. If you apply then, wouldn't you not have a bachelor's degree? It takes 4 years to get one, so do you apply AFTER receiving your degree? Thank you!

Your degree is conferred before matriculation not application.
I think you have the wrong status, btw...

You don't need one to apply, but you (usually) need one to matriculate.
