advil, and light weightlifting generally helps, as does trying to catch up on as much sleep as you possibly can.

Eat something feeling, take two of whatever painkiller you so desire, and go to bed. It's easy as pie.

a mild anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen or aspirin...i also find that drinking something with caffeine helps my muscle pain. hot shower/bath is good too.
