Bad Idea to be a Patient at Affiliated Clinics?

Is it a bad idea to be a patient at clinics/doctors that are affiliated with your school? This is for long term pcp/specialty care with relatively frequent follow-ups.

I think it depends if any of the faculty who are treating you there will also eventually be teaching you. If that is the case, I personally would find another place.
 
would you really want a potential professor/attending/mentor to know if you've had a herpes outbreak? I would stay away for a regular pcp because you might have personal problems you consult with. If its for sparse visits (hurt hand while playing sports, or flu) then use it but for a regular pcp i would stay away
