Bankruptcy and Student Loans

if you are about to claim bankruptcy are u unable to get student loans. i heard you can get federal loans but will they give you enough money for 4 years? like stafford loan? will that get you through college..what should my friend do besides tryin to get grants??thanks so much for ur help
