I saw the thread about Integrative Medicine and thought I would ask if anyone is interested in being a weight loss doctor. I am currently a third year osteopathic student and plan on going into a Family Medicine residency to do bariatrics when I am done. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with any weight loss doctors they have encountered. There is some more information about this specialty at asbp.org . I have already started a website LeanerLiving.com along with my brother (he is an internal medicine resident at Portsmouth Naval) to be the foundation of our future practice.
