I recently began preparation for the MCATs. I have taken tests from Barron's and Peterson's 1997 editions. How realistic are these tests? Are they harder or easier or just completely different from the actual test? Would a score on either of these be a realistic determination of what my real MCAT score would be?

If you want a quality practice test, buy yourself an AAMC MCAT Practice test I thru IV. I believe these are actual MCATs given on exam days 4 to 6 years ago. It's as close to the real thing (if not the actual real thing) as you are going to get.

I used the Princeton Review book (the REALLY big one) by Flowers and Silver. I think it cost $50 at the mall. I helped me tremendously!!!
