Barry University Masters vs Boston University Master's

Hey you guys I was wondering I have been accepted to Barry University for there Masters in Biomedical Sciences program geared towards getting students below qualifications into dental school, and am currently trying to get into the Boston Masters program for the same reason. Anyone heard of any stories with someone they know or heard about these programs actually helping them out for acceptance. I spoke to several schools and they said any type of Masters degree, will seperate you from traditional undergrad applicants, especially if the masters is from one of these programs geared towards dental/medical schools..... Any comments, inquiries, suggestions???????

We have a bunch of kids in my class that are doing that program. As far as getting accepted to the school, I think they are all waiting still. Im sure BU will make a decision on them when they have finished off their program and received their grades. So the verdict is still out on whether or not it has helped them. The good thing with the program is that they take actual dental school courses with the first years. The classes they take with us include: microbiology, physiology, biochemistry. They also take a few other classes that are separate from the dental school.

Yeah, except I went to Barry for a Masters and got accepted into BU's dental school.

Is that the Masters you're trying to get into? I would choose this one over Barry 100x over. The only problem is that I think they have a small class size. I applied for it to only to be waitlisted. I also got into the Barry's Masters and it worked out great for me.

Why did you not like Barry? I'm pre-dental and starting in the Fall, and I've heard mixed reviews, and I'm getting hesitant about investing so much money into this program. Thank you.
