Does anyone know how long it takes to hear about a decision from Baylor after interviewing? I know they decide your fate the Saturday after your interview, so I would assume the turnaround should be much faster than other schools. I interviewed 1/11-1/12 and am already getting ancy hoping for a first acceptance.

I interviewed 1/11-1/12 also. Haven't heard anything yet!!

I remember they said the earliest would be 10 days, that was Tues - so, I don't know. I wish they had a status check website.

I interviewed on 9/7-8, and still no word.....c'mon Baylor!!! Give me that call!!! :)

Still waiting-- Same story here. Interviewed in mid-Dec and still watching the clock. However, for some odd reason, my residency confirmation forms were not received at their offices or filed with my app until recently. At the meeting after the interview, I was told that those forms will not delay my notification, however, on the forms, it said that no decision will be made until after those forms have been filed with my app. Does anyone know the real answer to this-- will my notification be delayed if the residency confirmation forms were not filed until recently? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

When the questionnaire says, "no decision can be made until received" it's referring to the decision of whether or not you'll be considered a resident.

Thanks for the clarification, even if it does mean that there is no excuse for me not to have received notification about acceptance/rejection yet. :( {resume twiddling my thumbs...}

Just to clarify the admissions process a little...

They give you a "ranking" within the interview group and the entire interviewee pool the last day of your interviews (Saturday). The people that had the highest rankings on that day find out right away (ie, 10-14 days usually). If you are not one of those people, you just continue to be reviewed throughout the interview season. Once interviews are complete (usually February or early March), more offers of admission will be made to fill the class. Waitlist letters are then sent out around April.

Congratulations, everyone, on your interviews at Baylor. As for me, I'm still waiting on an interview offer. Does anyone know when Baylor plans to stop interviews? Are they still making interview offers?

Traditionally, they have stopped interviewing around feb 5-10. Since they send out interview notices about two weeks ahead (not 100% sure about that) I would guess there is one batch left. They started on time this year and wasn't really affected by AMCAS.
