BDS is dental related? I think you would want to first have an idea as to what you want to do with a graduate business degree to know whether it is a good idea. An MBA is a prerequisite to nothing, and is only as good as the use you put it to. There are posts lower on this board suggesting that the MBA may not be the best degree in terms of opening doors or teaching you how to actually run a business, but certainly can enhance existing skills, and may have some value in certain administration and consulting directions in health care. Finance would be one of the MBA concentrations hardest to combine with healthcare (as compared to eg. management), but I'm sure it could be done. But bear in mind that the value of a business degree is far more dependant on the caliber of the school granting it than some other degrees, should you decide to use it to work in a business industrty. Too many schools, including online universities and very part time executive MBA programs, grant MBAs and thus the quality of the degree outside of the top bunch tends to sometimes be suspect to some employers (particularly in finance/Wall St).
