"1. Concerning anesthesiologist salary data:

  • 33.8 percent made less than $350,000
  • 9.7 percent made between $351,000 to $375,000
  • 13.8 percent made between $376,000 to $400,000
  • 11.7 percent made between $401,000 to $425,000
  • 31 percent made more than $426,000"
2. Concerning CRNA salary data:

  • 29.6 percent made under $175,000
  • 24.3 percent made between $175,000 and $200,000
  • 23.5 percent made between $201,000 and $225,000
  • 11.9 percent made between $226,000 and $250,000
  • 10.7 percent made more than $251,000
3. Florida, Texas and New York were the top states for anesthesiologists to practice in.

4. Florida, Texas and Ohio were the top states for CRNAs to practice in.

The anesthesiologist data looks like they picked a couple academic places in the Midwest and called it good.

I feel like there are plenty of stats coming out that list completely different average salaries for the medical specialties. The truth is it depends on the region you're working, type of practice, number of worked hours, and ability to negotiate a good contract. This goes for the CRNAs too.

If your point is to rub it in our face that our average salaries and theirs are getting closer and closer, keep it to yourself. I'd like to enjoy my coffee in peace.
 
NY is a top state for anesthesiologists to work in? Who came up with this stuff
When bogus salary data is involved, the answer is usually recruiters
