Becoming a Manhattan Dentist

Hello all,

I'm a 4th year student in Illinois starting
to realize i will finally get out of here,
now i suppose the next step is 'the job'.

So i'm looking for advice as to how best go
about finding a job in New York City . . .
any ideas as far as who to contact, the types
of situations available and things of that nature . . .

not being from the area, i was especially hoping to hear from New Yorkers as to what kind of challenges they feel they are facing and what they are doing about it . . .
