Hi

I was wondering if anyone out there took either BK review or Columbia review books?
I am not familiar with either one.
Which course is better for Verbal practice? I was told by many that the verbal for BK is not quite the same as the real AAMC MCAT verbal. Is this true?
I would appreciate if anyone can share their thoughts into this matter.
Thanks

I used the Berkeley Review. I really liked it a lot. Mostly because it had tons of practice passages for each unit. I used the Kaplan book my first time for the MCAT, and overall I think BR did a better job of explaining stuff in a useful way. Kaplan skimmed over things too much, in my opinion. I didn't really notice a big difference between BR Verbal and MCAT Verbal. If you need the books, I've got all of 'em.
