Hmm, I think there is a book titled "All a preliminary surgery resident needs to know, and nothing more: A look into wound care and dressing changes"

The The Washington Manual® Surgery Survival Guide
is great.
It's different than the (relatively) big Wash Manual. This is a truly pocket sized book geared for interns with stupid simple 1-2-3 directions organized by patient complaint or surgery.
