Other OT-Related Information Best Computer for OT School

My computer is around 10 years old, so I’ll be getting a new one prior to the start of OT school. I was wondering if anyone had any insights about the best type to get, Mac vs PC for any specific programs or software that needs to be run.

My school requires us to have a laptop that can run a system that we can take tests through that has video & recording. So make sure your computer has a camera. They also state that we cannot use a tablet in place of it. I personally have a macbook pro. About half of my class uses apple products, the others use PC products. Any will do as long as there is ample storage!! I also personally prefer a lighter weighht computer that can be easily transported

I personally love a 2in1 laptop/tablet option.
Using it with a stylus, I find very useful for drawing/highlighting on the anatomy powerpoints, also to drag in other digital media.
Drawing and writing also help me remember better compared to just typing.
A lenovo yoga or microsoft surface makes good 2in1 laptops.
