If I want to specialize in endo, does it matter what GPR I go to? I am pretty much deciding between all of the GPRs in the LA area. What is more important: the name of the program (such as UCLA, USC, a VA) or is it the endo experience? Any other advice in applying to endo?

Why do you need GPR to do endo tho

I don’t think it matters which GPR/AEGD program you attend. It definitely helps boost your chance of getting in. My wife’s best friend did AEGD at UCLA and after completed her first year there, she then decided to stay at this same AEGD program for another year. I thought she was crazy. I later learned that she got accepted to an endo program...so she wasn’t crazy after all…it was actually a smart move. My GPR co-resident also got accepted to sevearal endo programs.
