I'm looking for a physics text book to help me go into a bit more detail on some topics. (non calc based physics)

I'd like a book that has a lot of the problems worked out in the book - not in a solutions manual.

Electric fields and optics are my weak points.

Any suggestions?

i am loving nova's mcat physics book...has problems worked out in text and also practice problems ta end of chapter.

also a book called physics made easy that i got from b&n..love that one as well :)

The TPR physical science workbook is gold, it has many examples worked out, its priceless for physics, its been my biggest asset so far. Its a little pricey compared to NOVA, I have NOVA by the way, which is OK, but compared to TPR's workbook, there's no comparison. TPR is comprehensive, the downside is its a little pricey.
