I been out of school for some time. Which study guides will give me best overall review of concepts without having to read any books.
Especially if time is a factor. Thank you.

It had been about 8 years since I took Organic Chem, Chem, and Physics when I started studying for the 1/29/10 test. I used EK exclusively and found it to be very helpful and straightforward for relearning/reviewing. Probably would help to use other materials, but I was so overwhelmed with the material initially that I wanted to keep my studying as simple as possible.

how was mcat for you? Its been 10+ for me since I took those classes.

I have been myself out of the school for some time and now I am doing Part-time degree program. For guides I just walked into the most popular book store in our area and he gave me all the guides required for my course.

I thought the test itself was pretty difficult after spending about 2.5 months studying for it. I ended up with a 32Q which I am pretty pleased with at this point. I feel that being out of school for a significant amount of time was a definite disadvantage, in terms of both the covered material as well as study habits. The first month was frustrating and difficult, but things seemed to get clearer and easier throughout the next month and a half. I still feel like I would have been able to score a bit higher had I taken this test 6 years ago (orgo was a *%$#). The only thing I would have done differently in preparation would be to take more practice tests; I only used the AAMCs. My advice would be to dive right in and try not get discouraged if you initially feel overwhelmed. Good luck!
