Best USLE Book for Neurosurgeon

My brother in law is moving to the US. He has been a Neurosurgeon in Europe for approx 8 years. I can tell you he is not the best exam taker. Does anyone have advice on what step 1 and 2 and CS books he should get.

Any help, since I will be buying books here and sending them to him accross the pond.

step 1--used first aid, kaplan qbank (can order on their web site)
step 2-used step 2 secrets (or crush the boards, same author), first aid (+ or -), and kaplan qbank; heard NMS questions were good.
CS-used First aid; taking next week, so don't know if this helps.
