I will be sending my application next week but I plan to start volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters in about a month as well as start some shadowing. Is there an official way to keep schools up to date on this info before interview selection occurs? How have some of you done this in the past/what do you recommend? Thanks

Send an update letter/e-mail. Keep in mind that some schools are leery of accepting letters before you're invited to interview, but it's worth a shot.

Honestly I would wait before sending an update letter to them. Imo it's not really going to be a deal breaker on your app (although I understand every little bit counts in this crazy app cycle).

I'd say if you really want to send the update wait until after you send in your secondaries. It couldn't hurt but it may not necessarily help either.
