hi all-

no matter what school, send your deposit check early and make sure to follow up. in fact, i will do delivery confirmation in the future, it's only like, 30cents extra.

nycom didn't cash in my check in time and when i called to follow up, they said they never got it but would look into it. well, thx goodness, they found it the following day and all is good now, but aviod yourself the extra tension. it's already nerve-wracking as it is, isn't it?

It is a good idea to double check everything!! I had a problem with AACOMAS mis-filing my application as "incomplete" when it had been complete for more than a month. They told me that if I had not caught it and called them, my app would never have been sent on to the school!! Once I called them it was fixed quickly, though.

Moral of the story: stay on top of thing at every stage of the application process to be sure that everything gets done properly.
