Does anyone know anything about the BIDMC residency program? I am considering a 4th year elective there and would very much appreciate any input.

very nice program.
new er, very nicely set up.
very academic, yet not as stuffy as the haemr program at mgh.
3 year program but they have a 4th year elective that allows you to do research but make near attending salaries ($100K). that 4th year, you do research, work approx 20-25 clinical hrs/week with supervision if needed. essentially a 4 year residency that pays you well.
of course it is in boston which is the 'bomb-diggity'.
it is a new program but everyone seemed to really enjoy it there.
