So, I have been admitted to Columbia (health policy) but i'm a bit conflicted.
the program is really expensive (about 70K) and there are no assistantships or fellowships available... almost all will be loans. does anyone know what a starting salary out of their health policy program makes? is this a common question to ask the faculty or department?
though i didnt apply to public schools, would it make a difference if i waited a year and applied to a "cheaper" but top 10 school? does the name of the school really make a difference in the job market?
i know education is pricey, but i want to make sure it's worth it. i eventually want to do med school so the debt will indeed pile up.
any info would be much appreciated!
