Bio and C/P Passage Approach

I was curious as to how you guys approach Bio AND C/P passages. I'm struggling specifically on this.

Also, 9minutes per passage is the convention for these passages right ?

Read the passage with an eye for experimental design. Skim the data and look for general trends. Read the questions and come back to the data to answer those questions. You'll find that you might not even need to interpret some of the data and/or might need to interpret it only very superficially.
