It might come down for me only having time to take one or the other.

For MCAT purposes: which one will you benefit the most from taking before test day and why?

For MED SCHOOL purposes: which one would you benefit the most before beginning and why?

Discuss.

If you had decent coverage of MCAT info in your prereqs, neither of these courses will add anything. You can do quite well on the MCAT with neither of these courses. There is little point taking genetics for med school as it is not a hard enough class to give you any advantage over others in having already had it. Biochem may give a marginal benefit. But more importantly, some med schools require biochem, so if you are interested in those, you need it anyhow.
